The Office of the Dean of Engineering supports the activities of faculty and accommodates their needs with the following staff members:

The Dean’s Office oversees all aspects of the administration of the Faculty of Engineering, including strategic planning, setting budgets, allocating resources, fundraising, providing liaison with faculty and staff, advancing faculty communications and public relations.

Linda Coslovi, Director of Administration and Finance

Linda is responsible for the business affairs of the Faculty. She develops financial information for the preparation of the yearly budget, monitors the business accounts of the Faculty, and ensures that sufficient resources are allocated to each department. She provides administrative continuity, enabling the Faculty to maintain it’s day-to-day operations. Linda is a graduate of McMaster with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a Certified General Accountant. Prior to joining the Faculty, she held the role of Assistant Director, Research Finance for the University.

Amber Bukata, Executive Officer

Amber is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the human resource functions of the Faculty of Engineering. She is involved in staff recruitment, compensation, labour relations, training and development. She also supports the Dean and Business Manager in special projects and strategic initiatives. Amber is a graduate of McMaster University, having earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Gerontology & Psychology, and a diploma in Human Resources Management

Terry Milson, Faculty Advancement Officer

Terry provides a link between the Faculty of Engineering and the University Advancement Office. She coordinated activities to secure support from our alumni and stakeholders for our Engineering programmes. She is involved with broadening the base of alumni activity, expanding industrial partnership, working with fundraising programs, supporting students initiatives and advancing public relations for the Faculty. She is a graduate of McMaster with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in History and Art History.

Maria Massi, Executive Assistant to the Dean

Maria maintains the Dean's schedule, responds to inquiries and provides information. Maria also establishes search committees for Chairs of Departments and Directors of Programs. She provides support to Chairs of any Ad Hoc Committees struck by the Dean, including the Faculty's Women in Engineering Committee. She is a graduate of McMaster University with a Bachelor degree in Social Sciences.

Lindsay Martin, Administrative Assistant

Lindsay is the front-line person in the Office of the Dean. She greets our visitors and directs inquiries. She provides support and clerical services to the Business Manager and Faculty Advancement Officer.
